Lalbagh kella is an incomplete stronghold that is situated at the Lalbagh of Old Dhaka. The development was started under the bearing of Azam Shah, the third child of Mughal sovereign Aurangzeb amid 1678. His development was foiled as he was called back to Delhi to battle against the Marathi. Later on Shayesta Khan proceeded with the development amid 1680. Yet, shockingly his dearest little girl Pori Bibi had kicked the bucket that time and he thought about this fortification as a terrible sign, and in this way he never finished this assignment any longer (after 1684). This Lalbagh kella is otherwise called Lalbagh post, Lalbag kella, and so on.

What we have inside the Lalbagh Kella?

The Lalbagh stronghold has three fundamental structures separated from the fortress itself. It has a three arches mosque at the western side, and a Hammam Khana at the eastern side. Center of these two it has a tomb (of Pori Bibi). This tomb was constructed utilizing rich materials (thinking about that time) like marble stone, dark basalt, and so forth. At the inside council of this square molded complex the darling girl of Shayesta Khan was covered.

At the top of the gathering lobby.

The mosque is freely open for people in general to hone their every day supplication. Also, the Hammam Khana is filling in as a historical center which displays the utilized materials like knifes, dress, firearms from that time. At the present time the second floor isn't open (however it was the point at which I have visited there prolonged stretch of time back as a child).

The Lalbagh fortress has three principle veneers and just a single is open nowadays. These doors are at the northern side of the fortress. At southern side it has a few high dividers which were the piece of the primary fortress. I trust these were intended to be a piece of the high pathway for watching. This post was completely relinquished for a significant lot. Later it was revamped, yet at the same time the main outstanding bit of the divider is in extremely bedraggled condition.
